Our Feed

We are a very friendly, Multi Award winning Musical Theatre company based in the New Milton/Highcliffe area on the beautiful Hampshire/Dorset coast and now in our 53rd year of performing! At Milton we believe that everyone should have a chance to perform and many members have found hidden talents - singing solos they didn’t know they could sing and dancing steps that they didn’t know they could dance, to say nothing about appearing on stage in some magical shows! It isn’t all hard work and we do have a good social side with regular events and fundraisers where we find time for the odd drink or two!

If this sounds like the sort of fun you would like to have, whether you are a performer, a director, a choreographer, have talents in make up, sewing, or just want to be involved, why not join us? We also have great social events!

Our last Spring 2019 Production was DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS; A resounding success, this show broke new ground for the Society, and  added a comedy feather to our performance cap! It has also won a coveted NODA Excellence award.

November 2019 we presented a new show entitled “The Show Must Go On - Ten Years of Musicals”. A trip down memory lane, to revisit the very best of our last 10 years of productions at the Regent Centre. Directed  by Terry Barnett & staged at the Forest Arts Centre in New Milton. Very pleased to report the event was a complete success, and we will return to the Forest Arts Centre in Nov 2021.

Our Spring 2020  production of South Pacific was cancelled because of the Covid lockdown.

We will return in November 2021 with our next Autumn show..."DO YOU WANNA DANCE?" at the Forest Arts Centre in New Milton.

For 2022 we are pleased to announce that the Society will be presenting the Tim Rice Musical, CHESS. With music by Benny Andersson & Bjorn Ulvaeus from ABBA!

The collaborators on CHESS are giants of rock music and rock musicals, & here they have created a complex rock opera that has played to full houses and standing ovations around the world. In this musical, the ancient game becomes a metaphor for romantic rivalries, competitive gamesmanship, super-power politics & International intrigues. The pawns in this drama form a love triangle; the loutish American chess star, the earnest Russian champion & a Hungarian born English woman who arrives at the international chess match in Merano,Italy, with the American, but falls for the Russian. From Merano to Bangkok, the players, lovers, politicians and spies manipulate & are manipulated to the pulse of a monumental rock score that includes "One Night in Bangkok" & " I Know him so well", not to mention "Anthem" & "Nobody's Side".
